Brazil's Power Transmission Project Bidding to be Held on June 28th

According to Brazilian regulatory agency Aneel, the tender for the first round of Brazil's power transmission project in 2018 will be held on June 28.

It is reported that the first round of bidding will provide 24 bids in 18 states in Brazil, totaling 3954 kilometers, with a transmission capacity of 13,866 MVA, and a cumulative investment of more than 8.8 billion reais (approximately RMB 17 billion).

According to the amount of investment, the largest target is No.20 wind power project in Rio Grande do Sul, with an investment of R$1.25 billion.

In addition, the No. 3 and No. 24 targets are intended to meet the transmission needs of Ceara and Amazonia, respectively, totaling R$ 1.0 billion. Detailed target information can be found on the Aneel website.

The public hearing for the first round of transmission project bidding will be held from March 15 to April 13.
