According to news on July 3, Australian mining alumina producer Metro Mining said on Tuesday that the company's Bauxite Hills bauxite in Queensland increased its output in May from 5,194 wet tons per day. Increased to 8,167 wet tons per day, also higher than February's 2,768 wet tons per day.The company also said that the shipment of bauxite in June was 7,133 wet tons per day, up from 4,844 wet tons per day in May.The company previously said that its bauxite production and shipment targets this year were 1.9 million wet tons and 2 million wet tons respectively.
